Since the application of protections in CNCs have been established by maintenance as a proactive action the protection of CNCs, initially the equipment that produces the most according to the production indicators were protected.
There has been no failure in the Mitzubishi, Fanuc, and Sinematic (Siemens) modules, which were the main components that were damaged by the transients.

Currently are protected all distribution boards and sub-distribution present at the plant AMCOR RIGID Plastics COLOMBIA in the city of Medellin with DPS Sine Tamer, the models that were subsequently applied were models LA-STxx, RM-STxx and ST-SPTxx
Applied the solution Sinetamer power and control was reduced to 0 damage to the machine boards, the application has been installed for 4 years.
To date there have been no failures in the machines of the blown area, labelling and injection, all eventual stops have been by mechanical and hydraulic issues.
In the month of February 2018 we met with the new Plant manager and ratified the excellent results obtained.
We are currently working to give continuity to the protection process with DPS Sine Tamer in compressors and air conditioners.
AMCOR RIGID Plastics COLOMBIA
Since the implementation of the first installed DPS in the machine line PET during the year 2013, results were successful; the machine has not experienced any software confusion or lockups during any micro-cut or energy fluctuations. Since SineTamer was installed they have experienced zero events. At this point we started advising them and implementing the General project throughout the plant, starting with the different machines critical sensitive as inspectors of each line, machines of the line PET, filter compressor, water treatment, PTAP and UV lights.
The protected equipment has not suffered from surge-related events and Postobon management is very pleased with the solution. We continue to work in implementation of Sinetamer on various other production lines.
